The Simpsons Tapped Out has received a minor in game update which brings four new premium items one new cash item and a new costume for Apu. The update seems to be focused on the upcoming July 4th (Independence Day) holiday.

The Simpsons Tapped Out for iOS and Android received another minor in-game update today and the Facebook page for the game has actually revealed what this update is all about. Starting Monday, June 24th an age verification system mandated by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act will go into effect for players of The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

The Simpsons Tapped Out for iOS and Android received another minor in-game update today which is likely aimed at fixing bugs and improving performance. This is the second minor update released (at least what we noticed) following the Squidport update. The first update which was released on the 17th brought back the original Lamp Post to decorations and offered some minor changes in game-play along with other likely improvements.

The Simpsons Tapped Out was recently updated to version 4.3.0 which introduced the Squidport waterfront expansion. The update is available for iOS and Android and brings several new features and enhancements. Unlike previous holiday themed updates, this update seems to be a permanent enhancement to the game.

In case you missed it, The Simpsons Tapped Out version 4.3.0 was released today for iOS and Android. The update finally brings the long awaited Squidport Water Front along with several new characters and decorations.
If you are on the lookout for a modded version of the game which will allow you access to all the old items along with free doughnuts you can check out the following Android APK Mod along step-by-step instructions on how to install it to your device.
